A well-established and dynamic law firm with a strong reputation in property and commercial law is seeking a skilled Senior Property Solicitor. This is a newly created position based in the firm's prestigious Central London office, designed to support its continued growth and success.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a diverse and high-quality caseload, split approximately 70/30 between residential and commercial conveyancing. This role involves handling complex, high-value matters for a discerning client base, including high-net-worth individuals. The solicitor will benefit from a high degree of autonomy, reporting directly to the partners while working closely with the property and commercial teams.
Support is provided by a dedicated team, including junior fee earners and legal assistants, enabling a focus on strategic and complex legal work.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a mixed caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Advising on complex, high-value matters for HNW clients.
Maintaining excellent client relationships and providing expert legal advice.
Collaborating effectively with colleagues across various departments.
The Candidate
The ideal applicant will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE, possessing proven expertise in both residential and commercial conveyancing.
Essential skills and attributes include:
Strong technical ability and a track record of managing complex files independently.
Excellent client communication skills and sound commercial awareness.
A proactive, organised, and personable approach, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
Desirable qualities:
Business development experience or a demonstrable ability to generate new work is highly valued.
