This role requires a minimum of
3-4 years' experience

Aviation-related role

Function:
To assist the Purchasing Team Leader in ensuring smooth, efficient and timely operation of all daily delivery aspects of the Purchasing function. To ensure that all processes are followed and purchases are handled in accordance with company procedures and meet all business requirements. Liaise with suppliers and deliver a high-quality service level, ensuring on time deliveries. Develop Avtrade/Supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
To support the Purchasing Team Leader in ensuring team delivery of high
quality service levels to all Avtrade customers and internal department
Coordinate Purchasing Teams daily activity, including time management to ensure all tasks are prioritised appropriately
Purchase inventory for stock and specific customer requirements
Assist with the review and purchase of non stock items & commercial buys, both on standing orders and for specific business requirements
Utilise Avtrade Pooling solutions, maintaining optimum inventory levels to support Avtrade
Requirement
Experience in an aircraft component, MRO or trading environment essential.
4 years experience of purchasing aircraft component inventory for stock essential
Excellent knowledge of aircraft components with awareness of component conditions,
certification and airworthiness regulations
Good understanding of IPC's, alternative part numbers and aircraft effectivity
Experience leading people beneficial
