We are looking for

Senior Python Programmer

to join our team at our customer's location in in London with a required five-day presence in the office.

The ideal candidate will have over 7+ years of hands-on experience with Python, database (MS SQL Server) & Snowflake.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business teams to understand current application architecture and data workflows Conduct thorough data analysis and assist in identifying key data sources Support the ingestion of data into Snowflake from various structured and unstructured sources Design and implement efficient and scalable data transformation processes to support quantitative models Develop and enhance solutions to improve data quality and consistency Use Python to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements Optimize existing database queries and procedures for performance and scalability Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards across all stages of data handling

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python is required. Expertise in MS SQL Server (including T-SQL, performance tuning, stored procedures) Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable. Good understanding of data transformation, data modelling, and data quality improvement Ability to build dashboards and reporting tools using Python-based frameworks And most importantly, you are a team player, you are open-minded and have a positive approach to challenges. Strong interpersonal and communication skills & good analytical skills.
