Senior Quality Engineer

Based in Watford (WD24 4WW) 51,000 - 55,000 + Car/Car Allowance Full-time | Hybrid - Site travel across UK up to 2 days/week and head office in Watford


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a

Senior Quality Engineer

to join a growing team delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK. This Watford-based role offers a chance to play a key part in shaping quality assurance and control across multiple sites, supporting project success from the ground up.


You'll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to drive a strong quality culture and ensure standards are met and exceeded.


Key Responsibilities:
Collect, monitor and report quality data (including NCRs and performance trends) Champion quality standards and help embed a quality-first culture Support the digital delivery of quality systems Assist in developing and delivering quality training across the business Contribute to internal communications around quality initiatives Help manage and deliver the internal audit programme Provide interim quality support where required Participate in investigations and root cause analysis for quality issues

What You'll Need:
Strong experience in quality management on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects Excellent knowledge of quality performance monitoring and compliance A relevant qualification in construction, engineering or quality management Chartered status or working towards chartership with CQI (or similar body) Flexibility to travel to project sites across the UK (up to 2 days/week)
