We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join our
Regional Civils team
working on the prestigious
Apollo Substation Project
in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure that supports the nation's energy network.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll lead the commercial management of a high-profile civils project, ensuring value, efficiency, and quality at every stage. You'll oversee cost control, subcontractor management, and forecasting while supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
What you'll be doing
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:
Manage all commercial aspects of the project, from procurement through to final accounts
Drive value for money while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Provide accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and risk management
Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure smooth financial and operational delivery
Mentor and support less experienced team members in their professional development.
Who we're looking for

What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, M&E, Power or any infrastructure projects
Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Chartered (RICS, ICES, or CIOB) or working towards professional accreditation
Hands-on experience managing civils projects -- ideally within the energy or utilities sector.
