Senior Quantity Surveyor required to work for Principal Contractor JV on High Speed Rail London Tunnels Programme.
Contract - Inside IR35


Based at North Acton/South Ruislip - Hybrid Working arrangements in place.


Senior Quantity Surveyor with Strong NEC Contracts experience essential.


Role involves Final Accounting and Sub-Contractor Management. Closing out historical sub-contractor accounts.

Previous experience working for Main Contractors Tier 1 / Tier 2 on similar major construction projects.


Key Responsibilities


Lead and develop the efficient and effective management and issue of accurate, timely and contract compliant documentation. Work closely with project management and engineering teams Competent in the application of IT skills to commercial management and the production of project documentation. Demonstrate and maintain commercial and technical knowledge and work closely with technical staff to develop appropriate techniques and solutions for the project. Identify and provide appropriate, timely information to support change control process. Manage Subcontract administration to reach final account. Prepare and agree final accounts with Subcontractor. Maintain registers of variations, delay, extension times and claims of Subcontractors.
Essential


Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant industry experience. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel. * Right to Work in the UK.
