Senior Quantity Surveyor

to join our team in

Bristol

, working on a key

Overhead Lines

project within our

Power Transmission & Distribution

business.



As a

Senior Quantity Surveyor,

you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful commercial delivery of our overhead lines works. You'll take ownership of cost management, contract administration, procurement, and financial reporting, while working closely with project teams to drive value and support positive outcomes for our clients.

What you'll be doing



As a

Senior Quantity Surveyor

you will:


Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements Preparing and reviewing tender documents, subcontractor packages, and contract variations Leading cost forecasting, budget management and regular financial reporting Identifying commercial risks and opportunities, offering strategic advice to project leadership Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Supporting junior commercial staff with guidance, mentoring and technical leadership.



Who we're looking for

You will have the following:




Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in the infrastructure, utilities, power, or heavy civil engineering sectors Strong commercial acumen and practical knowledge of NEC contracts (ideally NEC3/4) Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience Membership of a relevant professional body (RICS, CICES) - preferred but not essential.
