Senior Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places - Building Solutions South team based in the South.

Location: Basingstoke/ Southampton

Hours:

40 hours



We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Kier Places - Building Solutions South team, supporting them in delivering high-quality refurbishment and re-cladding projects across the region.



Your day to day will include:


Managing the commercial resources of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks Leading and motivating commercial staff to ensure collaborative project delivery Managing subcontractor and supplier relationships, including tendering and placing orders Supporting the generation of tenders and winning of new contracts

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:


You have experience in a similar role with strong commercial and contractual acumen You hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying desirable) You are confident using Microsoft Office and other IT packages, and can communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

If a driving licence is required, it does not need to be a UK Driving Licence, just a Full Driving Licence.
