Job Description


: You will play a crucial role in ensuring patients and visitors have a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they enter our hospital. You will be the first point of contact for many, and your professionalism and warmth will set the tone for their entire visit. You will coordinate clinicians; colleagues and visitors; ensuring that the tranquil atmosphere is maintained at all times. You must have a sense of authority whilst maintaining a soft and caring approach. The ambience and safety of the hospital is your main responsibility. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Welcome and assist patients and visitors as they arrive at the hospital. \xc2\xb7 Provide a warm and friendly greeting, creating a positive first impression. \xc2\xb7 Confidently handle meet and greet duties, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times. \xc2\xb7 Assist with check-in processes and ensure patients are directed to the appropriate departments while also assisting surgeons and practitioners as a chaperone during appointments. \xc2\xb7 Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries effectively. \xc2\xb7 Manage waiting areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and comfortable. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. \xc2\xb7 Handle any issues or concerns with tact and professionalism. \xc2\xb7 Maintain knowledge of hospital services and facilities to provide accurate information to visitors. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that regulatory requirements are maintained at all times \xc2\xb7 Assist with administrative tasks as needed. \xc2\xb7 Participate in the governance activities relating to quality and safety. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Must be based in Glasgow, UK. \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in a front-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \xc2\xb7 Confidence and poise when dealing with a diverse range of individuals. \xc2\xb7 Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. \xc2\xb7 Professional appearance and conduct. \xc2\xb7 A welcoming and friendly attitude. \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.
