The Opportunity



Help us build the team that's helping to protect the territory and airspace of NATO countries and their allies.


In this newly created role, you'll take point running effective recruitment campaigns to attract world-class talent pipelines and help to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes across our fast-scaling business. Taking direction from our Recruitment Manager, you'll be our go-to recruitment expert - partnering with hiring managers, sourcing niche technical talent and helping shape how we attract, select and hire brilliant people.


As our Senior Recruitment Partner (12 months FTC), you'll combine in-house campaign management with exceptional direct sourcing capability, using innovative talent research and sourcing methods to reach hard-to-find technical candidates across engineering, manufacturing and more. You'll also help to shape how we position ourselves in the talent market, strengthen our employer brand and continuously improve how we hire.


This position is based on-site in Prudhoe (close to Newcastle-upon-Tyne) with flexible working options available. We're afraid we're unable to sponsor a visa or relocate for this position.

What you'll be doing




This role is perfect for someone who loves hands-on recruiting, thrives in a high-growth environment and brings creativity, rigour and curiosity to finding exceptional talent.


You'll fully own a portfolio of recruitment campaigns and navigate the full recruitment lifecycle while building strong partnerships across the business working closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to plan, source and select brilliant people ensuring a seamless, inclusive and engaging candidate experience from first contact to first day.

You'll be:



Recruitment Delivery:

Shaping and delivering proactive sourcing and selection strategies across technical, engineering, manufacturing, central support, commercial, early careers campaigns

Partnering:

Partnering with hiring managers to define briefs, plan attraction strategies, write engaging job adverts and embed fair, consistent and inclusive selection practice

Technical Direct Sourcing:

Leading direct sourcing efforts, using boolean search strategies, talent market mapping, direct sourcing and proactive outreach to find best-in-class talent

Talent Research and Market Mapping:

Conducting talent supply/demand analysis and competitors

Recruitment Compliance and Best Practice:

Advising on relevant recruitment and selection employment law, recruitment compliance and best practice across all hiring activity

Talent Attraction:

Supporting employer branding and talent attraction initiatives, working closely with the Recruitment Manager and our Marketing and Communications team

Outreach:

Helping to organise and attend recruitment fairs, STEM events, open days and community outreach

Wider People and Talent team support:

Supporting wider People & Talent projects ad hoc when needed


What we're looking for:



Proven experience as an in-house Senior Recruitment Partner, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Talent Acquisition Business Partner or Recruitment Lead and above Strong in-house technical recruitment results Expert direct sourcing skills including boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping and proactive outreach Strong knowledge of UK employment law relating to recruitment compliance, fair selection and reasonable adjustments Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships with both hiring managers and senior stakeholders Passion for building great teams and supporting others to make confident hiring decisions A driven, inquisitive recruiter who goes beyond the obvious to surface exceptional talent
