Senior Relationship Manager, London (LL5-1)
Contract: Permanent, job share, working 17.5 hours per week (Wednesday (7) Thursday (7) and Friday (3.5am). Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: 51,457 (pro rata) per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: London (The role will be based in London; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
Do you want to be part of a diverse team of creative arts professionals working across one of the most exciting theatre sectors in the country? As a Senior Relationship Manager at Arts Council England, you will contribute to the Arts Council's role as a national development agency and will manage partnerships, investments, and development programmes across the London Area and lead a team of experienced Relationship Managers to carry out cultural development work.
You will be part of a small London Theatre management team of three, reporting to the Director of Theatre and London, managing a team of ten Relationship Managers and one Assistant. In addition, you will be part of the London Area Management Team and the National Theatre Team - amongst other team memberships.
As a member of the London Area Management Team, you will lead on key strategic priorities in London to contribute to the development and delivery of Arts Council programmes and investments ensuring our work benefits more people as part of the delivery of our strategy for 2020-2030, Let's Create.
You will have specialist knowledge of the London Theatre sector and an interest in arts and culture more generally. You will be experienced at leading and motivating teams and capable of creating strong partnerships with local stakeholders at a senior level. Alongside your job-share partner, you will represent the London Area at monthly Touring Project Grants decision panels.
