We are looking for a high-calibre

Contract Data & Reporting Analyst

to join the team for one of our most prestigious clients. This is a role for a consultant who thrives at the intersection of technical automation and strategic business insight. The successful candidate will have a background in Business Analysis.


You will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical delivery teams and senior leadership, ensuring that every project decision is backed by rigorous, automated, and visually compelling data.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you won't just be "crunching numbers"--you will be the engine behind the project's strategic alignment.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

Leverage

Power BI

to build and maintain insightful dashboards that track project health and trackable business value realization.

Advanced Process Automation:

Act as the subject matter expert for internal reporting, utilizing

Excel macros and VBA

to eliminate manual data tasks and streamline reporting cycles.

Insightful Stakeholder Management:

Translate complex data findings into narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders, driving informed decision-making and consensus.

Quantitative Analysis:

Analyse system interactions and data flows to pinpoint bottlenecks. You will use quantitative reports to build the business case for "TO-BE" process improvements.

Performance Reporting:

Design and maintain robust reporting frameworks that ensure technical progress is transparently communicated to business leadership.

Key Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for a seasoned contractor with at least

5+ years of experience

in data-led system analysis within an

Agile delivery lifecycle

.

Advanced Excel & Automation:

Expert-level proficiency is a must. You should be highly skilled in VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, with a proven ability to write and debug complex

VBA Macros

from scratch.

Data Visualization:

Hands-on experience building and deploying

Power BI

reports that make complex datasets accessible to non-technical audiences.

Strategic Stakeholder Engagement:

A track record of influencing project priorities by presenting data-backed evidence to high-level stakeholders.

Technical Reporting:

The ability to translate raw data into functional specifications and actionable business reports.

Analytical Rigor:

A background in identifying system efficiencies and justifying process changes through rigorous data modelling.
