JOB PURPOSE
Join the BBC World Service Audience Insight team to shape global understanding of our reach and impact. As a Senior Research Executive, you'll lead quantitative audience and social research projects that inform strategic decisions and help grow BBC's global audience.
The post holder will get to work on the BBC's Global Audience Measure (GAM), which measures the BBC's weekly audience and impact each year, around the world, and involves building a single customer view of the business through merging multiple data sources and methodologies.
The Global Audience Measure is a key measure of the BBC and BBC News' performance globally, which directly informs future, and long-term business decisions. You will be involved in all stages of research, from commissioning and survey design to overseeing fieldwork, analysing data, and debriefing to editorial leadership.
WHY JOIN THE TEAM:
Be part of a team that drives the BBC's global news strategy through data. The BBC World Service makes up the biggest share of the BBC's International News services, delivering news in English and 41 other languages to hundreds of millions around the world across digital, TV and audio platforms - including in hard-to-reach markets across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.
