At the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration West, (ARC West) and the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) we work alongside patients and members of the public to conduct health research.
Our research aims to protect public health and address the immediate issues facing the health and social care system. We help bring research evidence into practice and provide training for the local workforce. Public contributors play a key role in guiding our research, ensuring that our work addresses the needs and concerns of the public.
About you
You're a skilled and enthusiastic research senior fellow in public involvement to join our public involvement team to cover for maternity leave. We have a strong track record in developing innovative and effective public involvement. Working with public contributors you will lead on the ongoing development and implementation of the ARC West and HPRU public involvement strategy. You will work closely with our public involvement strategy groups made up of public contributors and research staff. Key activities will include:
