The Role
As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will:
Provide direct care and supervision, meeting the physical, emotional, and social needs of young people
Lead shifts, delegate tasks effectively, and act as a role model for junior staff
Mentor and support Residential Care Workers, ensuring best practice and professional development
Develop and review individualised care plans in collaboration with the team
Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
Maintain accurate records and contribute to inspections, audits, and quality assurance
Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and external professionals
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare (essential)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Enhanced DBS check (essential)
Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
