Are you looking to work in a children's home that is committed to making a positive and lasting difference to children's lives?
We are looking for experienced, responsible, caring and fun individuals to join us as we open our third Ofsted Registered Children's home.
All of the visitors to our homes comment on the warm, welcoming and friendly environments!
This is an exciting time for us as we expand our current range of services and bring our third home into operation. We hope to register this home as both an LD and EBD provision, dependent on the diversity of experience within our staff and management team.
We recently began a partnership with a local psychotherapy service and we are keen to see what this brings to our homes. We provide care and support for children and young people aged between seven and eighteen with emotional and behavioural difficulties and mild learning disabilities.
You will be working with, and safeguarding children and young people within your role as a Senior Residential Care Worker. This is a great opportunity to continue your career in social care, working as part of a team committed to helping children and young people with a history of trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
As a small company, we have clear progression plans and can support you with the development you need to become a Deputy or Registered Manager.
You will already be qualified to Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) as a minimum.
(We will consider your application if your qualification is over 85% complete)
The position of Senior Residential Care Worker assists the Manager and Deputy to lead and manage the children's home, consistent with the approach and ethos of the organisation. They will use their skills, knowledge and experience to help to create a supportive and caring environment to encourage our young people to develop and reach their full potential.
Our Senior Residential Care Workers are the role models for all other members of the team; they are responsible for delivering high-quality care as set out in the home's statement of purpose and in line with the Children's Homes Regulations and Care Standards.
Senior staff are responsible for shift planning, decision making and helping our Residential Care Workers to promote health, education, activities, family time and positive relationships as well as keeping young people safe, promoting their wishes and supporting children with experiences of trauma.
We are processing applications for either experienced Residential Care workers ready for the next step; or for current Senior Residential Care Workers.
We are currently only processing applications for individuals with experience of working in Ofsted Registered Children's homes.
We are especially interested in your application if you have experience in working in both LD and EBD homes.
