Evolve Care Group Ltd is a Therapeutic Children's Home for children aged between 8-18 with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
We are a new and upcoming organisation dedicated to providing vulnerable children and young people with the highest quality of care and experiences. The children and young people you will be supporting, have experienced trauma throughout their earlier life, and deserve the opportunity to live and grow in an environment free from harm and abuse, build safe and meaningful relationships and enjoy fun and unique experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist the home's management team in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose.
Uphold the organisation's mission statement and core values.
Support and help lead the care team to meet the changing needs of children and young people.
Contribute to the day-to-day running and delivery of care practices across the home.
Provide high-quality childcare in a safe, nurturing environment.
Monitor and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring welfare and care of young people.
Take responsibility for completing daily tasks and guiding colleagues.
Support development of residential care workers through:
Peer role modelling
Guidance and task setting
Debriefing and reflective practice
Help establish an effective supervision structure that supports the care team consistently.
Undertake direct work with children and young people, including:
Reviewing case files
Updating care plans
Supporting professional review meetings
Advocating for the child when needed
Respond to challenging behaviours with emotional resilience and consistency.
Use the PACE model (Play, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) in daily practice.
Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Offer supervision and support to the care team in line with Quality Standards and Regulations.
Promote and role model a PACE-informed approach throughout the home.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children is highly desirable
Valid driving licence
Strong background in childcare or related fields is an advantage
Familiarity with developing and following care plans is beneficial
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with the team
