We're growing. Due to an increase in demand for our services, we're looking for Senior Childcare Workers to join our teams across the Greater Glasgow area. Your preferred place of work will be discussed with you during the interview process to ensure the best match.


This is a role for someone who's not afraid to get stuck in, take the lead on shift, and be the voice for the young people in their care. You'll be supporting children who have experienced trauma, helping them feel safe, valued, and ready to take on new opportunities.

What you'll be doing

Leading by example on shift and guiding your team to deliver excellent care Managing casework and care plans for your assigned young person Building trust through fun, confidence, and compassion Working with families, schools, and professionals to get the best outcomes Encouraging children to develop new skills, hobbies, and friendships Promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

What you'll bring

Experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting Strong leadership skills and the confidence to manage shifts Clear communication and good organisational abilities An understanding of trauma-informed practice A full manual driving licence HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3 (essential)

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
