We are recruiting for a Children's Home Residential Support Worker, you will be:-
Based in a newly refurbished 2 Bed Residential Children Home in Liverpool
Working 2 full days and nights and then having 4 days and nights off
Working with children from the ages of 7-17
Supporting the child with making them breakfast, helping getting them dressed and to school, putting on washing, pick up from school, cooking dinner, getting them bathed and to bed
Making sure they are supported emotionally and aiding their learning and development to give them a stable and loving environment
Benefits and salary of a Children's Home Support Worker
14.09 if you have your Level 3, 12.21 if you don't have it but are willing to do it
60 per sleep in, 8-10 Sleep ins a month which equates to 7200 per annum on top
224 hours holiday per year - you get an extra 2 days after completing 2 years of service
Bank holidays paid at x 1.5
A great support network with further training and development
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements to be a Support Worker:-
Living in or around the Liverpool or surrounding area
You must have a full UK driving licence
NVQ Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce would be very beneficial but would consider someone without it who has experience working in a residential children's home
You have to have experience working with children that have challenging behaviour in some sort of setting
