Salary: 32,000 - 35,000 per annum (including sleep-in payments)

Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Shifts: 6 x 07:30-21:30 shifts per fortnight (42 hours/week) - Flexible patterns available

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Registered Manager and Deputy with the day-to-day leadership of the home Build strong, therapeutic relationships with young people, putting their emotional and developmental needs first Promote a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards Support staff development and reflective practice within the team Maintain accurate and insightful care records Participate in daily routines, activities, and recreational events with the young people Promote trauma-informed, attachment-based care in line with organisational policies
What We're Looking For:

Minimum 1 year's experience in a residential childcare setting NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) Strong communication and leadership skills with a nurturing, empathetic approach Understanding of trauma-informed practice (PACE knowledge desirable) Full UK Driving Licence Clear enhanced DBS and positive references from previous care roles
