Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team.

You will provide essential support to individuals aged 16+ with complex mental health needs . This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to drive, ensuring that our young people receive the best possible care and support.

Day to day responsibilities



As a Senior Residential Support Worker

, you will support young people in the many different aspects of their daily life, including;

Effectively lead shifts , direct and support colleagues Manage the home effectively in the absence of management Promote the safety and well being of our young people Administer medication for any of our young people who may require medication Responsible for ensuring effective handovers are communicated Support inductions with new staff members Conduct supervisions with colleagues Manage health and safety processes To be responsible for safeguarding and actively promote the safety and welfare of our young people Ensure professional boundaries are maintained within the home

What we're looking for



Previous experience working as a senior support worker with children/ young people is highly desirable. Genuine care and compassion Willingness to participate in training & qualifications Positive role model for our young people, willing to support their development, goals and dreams. Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is beneficial. Flexibility - able to work weekend and evening shifts. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with our young people and other professionals A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate young people's transportation needs.
Shift pattern details;

Week 1

= Monday Tuesday Saturday Sunday

Week 2

= Wednesday Thursday Friday .

12 hour shifts - 8:00am - 20:00pm


Spilt shifts available: 8:00am-14:00pm & 14:00pm-20:00pm

Pay: 14.20 per hour
