Barnardo\'s is the UK\'s largest children\'s charity, and we are currently on an exciting and innovative journey alongside Leicestershire County Council to deliver a range of children\'s homes for our most vulnerable young people ensuring they are able to stay close to home.

We are looking for committed individuals who have a passion for working with Care Experienced children who have experienced trauma and are vulnerable to Exploitation.

We want people with a passion to make a difference, to bring stability, fun, laughter and happiness to the young people\'s lives. The most important part of the job is to give our young people their childhood back and let them be children. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be taking care of our young people day to day, making sure things run smoothly and creating lasting memories.

You will be part of a small skilled team of adults, supporting and parenting up to 3 children in our beautiful newly refurbished home in Hinckley with an experienced and dedicated management team.

You will need to be able to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays. Barnardo\'s believe in creating equality of opportunity in the workplace and supporting people to manage their work-life balance; we are therefore open to offering flexible working arrangements.

As the senior residential support worker, we welcome applicants with experiences of working in a residential home and leading shifts, you will hold a level 3 QCF or equivalent.
