Job Description

This temporary role as a Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise in revenue accounting. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the financial reporting process.

Manage the revenue recognition process to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Review and analyse complex contracts to determine revenue implications.
Prepare and present revenue-related reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide guidance on revenue recognition policies and procedures.
Assist with audits and ensure all revenue-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements in revenue recognition practices.

A successful Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant should have:

Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is desirable.
