We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Risk & Assurance Analyst
to join the flexible and dynamic Assurance & Control (A&C) team within the Chief Operating Office.

The purpose of the role is to support the Assurance & Control Team, Chief Controls Office to deliver the Annual Risk Based Assurance & Control Plan.

The Senior Risk & Assurance Analyst will support the Assurance & Control Managers with assurance and control testing activity across the Chief Operating Office. This will involve information gathering, data and documentation analysis and the performance of testing and assessments in line with the defined frameworks, methodologies, procedures, and processes. They will also be responsible for supporting the Assurance & Control Managers embed COO Control Frameworks

What you\'ll be doing

  • Information gathering, data and documentation analysis to support the scoping of assurance and control testing activities
  • Performing control testing and assessments to support the A&C Manager delivery of assurance and control testing activity in line with the Annual Risk Based Assurance Plan
  • Identifying any weaknesses of the control design and operation ensuring these are reported for action and remediation.
  • Documenting control testing and assessment results to a high standard, evidencing the testing performed, evidence reviewed, testing results and any associated observations and recommendations
  • Working effectively to support overall plan delivery across the A&C Team
  • Supporting on the delivery of vital Risk & Controls related continual improvement activity.
  • Supporting A&C Managers independent assurance and monitoring of control effectiveness of risk profiles and control environments to ensure risk and control frameworks are fully documented and embedded within COO
We need you to have
  • Experience in Risk Management practices including the embedding of risk profiles and control frameworks
  • An understanding of how to document end to end business/service process maps for risk and control identification
  • The ability to perform control testing and assessments in line with best practise and defined risk frameworks, methodologies, procedures, processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements including consumer duty, customer outcomes, the fair treatment of customers, vulnerable customers, and conduct.
