Job Description

Senior Sales Associate - Outbound Sales Team (Office Based)

Preston Docks | Full Time | 25,000-29,000 Basic (DoE) + Bonus

Want to be right at the centre of a high-performing outbound sales operation?

Let's be honest...

If you like slow days, quiet inboxes, and plenty of down time - this won't be for you.

But if you're organised, commercially switched on, and thrive when things are moving fast, you'll fit right in.

This is a role where you're trusted, relied on, and where your work directly impacts sales performance.

At Altius Group, we're one of the UK's leading business brokerages, closing hundreds of millions of pounds in business sales every year. Our outbound sales team is the engine room and strong diary management is critical to keeping that engine running properly.

We're growing fast and looking for a Diary Manager who can keep pace, think ahead, and take real ownership.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing and optimising the diaries of our outbound sales team, making sure time is used properly, priorities make sense, and selling time is protected.

This is a fast-paced, commercial support role where attention to detail matters, and quick decisions are part of the day job.

In addition to diary management, this role plays a key part in the sales process.

You'll be handling inbound and outbound lead calls, qualifying prospects, pre-selling our services, and ensuring every appointment is well-positioned for our Associate Directors to close.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing multiple sales diaries for our Associate Directors Booking, confirming, moving, and replacing appointments efficiently Minimising gaps, clashes, and wasted diary time Reacting quickly to cancellations and rebooking intelligently Working closely with Sales Management to understand priorities Keeping HubSpot CRM and calendar systems accurate and up to date Spotting patterns in cancellations, availability, and diary efficiency Acting as a calm, organised presence in a busy sales environment

Sales & Lead Qualification Responsibilities

Handling inbound lead calls and outbound follow-up calls Qualifying all leads before booking appointments Confirming key business details and ensuring high data accuracy Pre-selling our services by clearly explaining the strengths of the business and the current market Setting high-quality appointments that give Associate Directors the best possible chance of closing Managing pre-sold leads, not cold calls - but confidently engaging prospects over the phone Ensuring each appointment is properly positioned, informed, and sales-ready

Who You Are

Highly organised and naturally structured Confident dealing with salespeople and comfortable pushing back when needed Calm under pressure and able to juggle competing priorities Detail-focused, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy Comfortable working at speed in a sales-led environment Commercially aware and confident speaking to business owners over the phone Comfortable qualifying, pre-selling, and handling sales conversations as part of your role

Experience-wise

Previous diary management, sales support, telesales, call centre, or similar experience is ideal Experience qualifying leads or booking sales appointments is a strong advantage We'll also consider people from customer sales-facing or account manager roles if you're sharp, resilient, organised, and commercially confident Comfortable using CRMs, shared calendars, and spreadsheets

What You'll Get

25K-29K basic salary (depending on experience) Bonus linked to team performance Office-based role in a modern, energetic sales environment Clear expectations and strong leadership support Friday early finishes, incentives, and team competitions Free parking, team socials, and a performance-driven culture

Progression

This role gives you genuine exposure to how a high-performing outbound sales team operates. Strong performers can progress into:

Sales operations Account management Team leadership or sales roles
This isn't a role for everyone, but if you're organised, resilient, commercially confident, and want to play a key role in a business that rewards performance, we'll give you the platform to do it.
