Our clientspecialises in designing and delivering low to net-zero carbon strategies, renewable energy solutions, and automated monitoring and targeting (aM&T) systems tailored to the energy-intensive manufacturing sector.
As
Senior Sales Engineer
, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a major new decarbonisation project for manufacturers across the West Midlands. This is a technical sales role for someone with deep knowledge of manufacturing environments, who is also passionate about reversing the effects of climate change.
Your Role
Engage directly with manufacturing clients, from boardroom to shop floor
Identify opportunities and present bespoke low and net-zero carbon strategies
Develop technical proposals covering process optimisation, renewable technologies (solar, CHP, biomass), and energy-efficient systems (lighting, heating, compressed air, etc.)
Promote and demonstrate our proprietary aM&T and Carbon Footprinting Accounting & Reporting (CFAR) platforms
Stay informed on regulatory changes and leverage these to create new opportunities
Collaborate with internal consultants and technical teams to ensure tailored solutions
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and relevant industry events
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in engineering or technical sales within manufacturing
Strong track record of meeting sales targets
Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and technical teams
High-quality report writing and proposal development skills
Familiarity with CRM systems as a sales planning and tracking tool
Commitment to decarbonisation and sustainable industrial practices
Clean UK driving license
