This is an office based role, working in Dinnington, Sheffield. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am -4pm.

Role Purpose
The Senior Sales Estimator drives revenue growth, leads the internal estimating team, and ensures all project quotes are accurate, competitive, and profitable. Working closely with the Commercial Sales Manager, this role supports sales strategy, enhances team performance, and helps deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Estimating
Engage with clients, understand requirements, and recommend tailored solutions.
Produce accurate cost estimates, proposals, and tender submissions.
Present proposals, negotiate terms, and support deal closure.
Ensure estimates meet scope, technical requirements, and margin expectations.
Attend on-site meetings when required, offering technical support.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide post-sale support.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and support the Sales & Estimating team, working closely with the Commercial Sales Manager.
Guide the team on complex estimates, commercial decisions, and best practices.
Drive performance, skill development, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure project alignment.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate CRM data and organised estimating documentation.
Prepare regular sales, pipeline, and performance reports.
Key Requirements
5+ years B2B sales experience with strong client management and deal-closing skills.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and support a team.
Strong understanding of cost estimation or technical quoting.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Detail-focused with strong analytical ability.
Industry experience in construction or glazing preferred; CAD/estimating software beneficial.
