Role Overview
We are looking for a driven, commercially astute
Senior Sales Representative
to join Chronicle's sales team. This role requires someone who can hunt for new business, manage mid-to-large size deals end-to-end, and help strengthen our market presence. You'll be expected to combine strong sales process discipline with initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to close business with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and close new business opportunities in the SME and mid-market space.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline, with accurate forecasting and CRM discipline.
Work closely with marketing and account management to ensure smooth handovers and client success.
Contribute to Chronicle's sales playbook, refining messaging, demos, and objection handling.
Represent Chronicle at client meetings, events, and industry trade shows.
Provide feedback to the product and delivery teams based on client needs and market insights.
Skills & Experience
5+ years proven B2B sales experience
in SaaS, HR tech, workforce management, or related software solutions.
Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage senior HR, finance, and operations stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Competent with CRM tools (such as Pipedrive and Pandadoc).
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work with limited supervision.
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
