Perform for Schools



Perform For Schools is the primary school division of Perform. Offering a host of educational workshops to primary schools including, Foundation, KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum Explorer Workshops. The Drama4ALL project offers FREE drama and dance-based workshops to primary schools across London and the South-East and West.

The Role



Perform is recruiting a Perform for Schools Manager to run their very busy and dynamic Perform for Schools Department. This full-time position (8am-5pm Monday to Friday) involves overseeing and managing the Perform for Schools and Drama for All Departments.

The Perform for Schools Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth by selling and booking our exciting drama workshops in schools nationwide. This dynamic role combines sales flair with creativity - from building strong school partnerships and expanding our reach, to organising our talented workshop leaders and ensuring every session runs seamlessly. You'll also bring fresh energy by researching innovative new workshop ideas and managing the department's social media presence to showcase our impact and attract new opportunities.

Responsibilities



The Perform for Schools Manager will be responsible for the following:

Manage the growth and day to day running of Perform for Schools

Sell and book Perform Drama Workshops into Primary Schools

Deal with all correspondence and invoices including chasing up outstanding balances

Manage a team of telephone advisors

Ensure that Perform Teachers have the necessary creative resources for workshops they are booked for

Oversee the social media for Perform for Schools

Occasional other duties which may involve travel beyond the office premises for meetings with schools

The Candidate



Candidates must be educated to degree level with ideally a degree in Drama or Dance and have a passion for promoting drama within education.

Must be incredibly organised have great communication and management skills.

Have exceptional standards of written and spoken English (good spelling and grammar).

Be IT literate and have reasonable typing skills with a good knowledge Excel.

An excellent and confident conversationalist over the telephone.

Not afraid to take initiative and think outside the box.

An early riser as have to be at desk by 8am!

A positive self-starting attitude.

The ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.

A friendly and professional manner at all times.

Employment details



Full-time - 8am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Contract: Initial fixed term contract of one year

Based at: Unit 4, Blenheim Court, 62 Brewery Road, London, N7 9NY

Salary: 35,000 basic

Generous commission package

On target earnings - 45-50,000
