Stork is a 120-160 cover Pan-African and Caribbean fine dining restaurant in the heart of Mayfair at 13-14 Cork Street. Our sophisticated two-floor space offers exceptional food and service in an elegant Afro-chic environment.
The Opportunity
We need a Sales Executive who can get out there and win business. You'll be building relationships, closing deals, and driving revenue across lunch, events, and evening service.

What You'll Be Selling
Corporate Lunch Programme
Build relationships with businesses in Mayfair, Soho, and the City
Secure regular corporate lunch bookings (3 days/week service)
Target 50-cover lunch capacity with corporate clients
Develop tailored lunch packages for local companies
A La Carte & Evening Service
Drive reservations for dinner service (5 nights/week, 100-120 covers)
Partner with concierge services, luxury hotels, and tourism operators
Build corporate entertainment clientele
Develop relationships with cultural organizations and community groups
Events & Private Dining
Sell "The Nest" private dining experiences (groups of 8+)
Book corporate events, celebrations, and cultural gatherings
Create bespoke event packages
Target minimum 8-12 events per month
Sundowner (Thursday-Saturday, 3pm onwards)
Promote 2-for-1 cocktails and special pricing
Build corporate after-work crowd
Develop partnerships with local businesses for team socials
Create regular customer base through "Cork Street Crew" community
Relationship Building:
Network across Mayfair, Soho, and the City
Attend business events and networking functions
Build partnerships with corporate account managers, PAs, and decision-makers
Develop relationships with concierge services and luxury hotels
Market Presence:
Be visible in the local business community
Represent Stork at corporate events
Conduct site visits and tastings for potential clients
Build strong relationships with local businesses
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Hunter mentality - you're driven by targets and love the chase
Proven B2B sales experience (hospitality/events/venue sales preferred)
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Natural relationship builder with strong networking abilities
Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Comfortable with cold calling, door-knocking, and proactive outreach
Results-driven with track record of meeting/exceeding targets
Knowledge of London's corporate landscape (Mayfair/City/Soho)
Full UK right to work
Desirable:
Existing corporate contacts in Central London
Experience selling events, private dining, or venue packages
CRM experience (we use modern booking systems)
Passion for food and hospitality
What We Offer
Salary:
Base Salary:
35,000 per annum, pro rata for part time applicants.
Uncapped Commission:
Realistic OTE of 50,000+ (top performers can exceed this)

Day-to-Day
Your typical week might include:
Monday-Wednesday:
Corporate lunch visits, prospecting calls, client meetings at their offices
Thursday-Friday:
Site visits and tastings for potential clients, networking events, follow-ups
Flexible hours:
Morning meetings with corporate clients, afternoon prospecting, evening event attendance
Regular touchpoints:
Weekly strategy sessions with General Manager
Target tracking:
Daily CRM updates, weekly pipeline reviews, monthly target assessments
You'll have the freedom to manage your own diary, but we expect to see results. This role requires someone who can self-manage, stay motivated, and hustle to hit targets.
