Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive significant growth in the custom apparel market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the print decoration industry, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed company revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key clients, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team success.
Possess in-depth knowledge of garment print decoration services (screen printing, embroidery, DTG, etc.) to effectively present solutions to clients.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with Head of Sales to create promotional campaigns that align with sales goals.
Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
Manage and negotiate sales transactions and contracts, ensuring successful and profitable closings.
Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company's products and services.
Requirements
Proven track record as a Sales Manager or senior sales role, ideally within the promotional products, apparel, or related industries
Demonstrated experience in B2B sales and business development.
Strong understanding of garment printing techniques and decorative processes
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on market insights.
Proficiency in using CRM software or similar platforms.
