Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. Reporting to the Insights and Analytics Manager you will be responsible for delivering key analysis to enhance understanding of business performance in the area of 'Customer' (Marketing, Sales and Care) and guide strategic decision-making, This includes implementing a robust measurement framework to assess performance, supporting the implementation of a holistic test and learn roadmap as well we ensuring the effective activation of customer data.
You will be expected to:
Leadership, Management and Strategy:
Support the implementation of a measurement framework to help teams to understand incrementality and ROI, this includes working with teams to establish measurements protocols and overseeing the translation and execution of the framework within the function, driving best practice.
Support the implementation of the test and learn roadmap, this includes working with the Omnichannel team to set up new experiments and analysing testing data to generate actionable insights.
Support projects to implement changes to business processes that integrate data insights into sales, marketing, customer care strategies and operations.
Regularly align with GDO and IT teams to drive alignment in Customer Data management and reporting, ensuring all initiatives are joined up.
Work with Forecasting, planning and Analysis (FP&A) to deploy tactical analysis identified from more strategic initiatives. Keep informed on the latest industry trends and capabilities of existing applications used such as CDP, Real time marketing,
Insights, Analytics and Reporting:
Conduct analysis to investigate specific hypotheses related to marketing activity and performance, this includes generating meaningful insights, and compiling findings into detailed reports that clearly articulate insights and recommendations.
Present data-driven insights and recommendations to Teams, articulating how recommendations add value or improve performance.
Contribute to the development of data-driven marketing strategies, providing insights and recommendations to support the creation of effective marketing strategies.
Support the definition of use cases and embedding of Single View of Customer into business process to the adoption of insights and models built as part of SVOC into marketing and operations.
Support the GDO to deliver reports and dashboards to understand campaign and channel performance, this includes working with Marketing Teams to identify reporting requirements, communicating requirements to the GDO and supporting the set up of new data feeds.
Data Management and Security:
Work with the Group Data Office (GDO) to ensure the Customer Data Platform (CDP) is fit for purpose, communicating Marketing requirements.
Support the Insights and Analytics Manager to deliver initiatives that ensure the effective use and activation of customer data across Marketing activity.
Provide ad hoc support to Marketing teams for the setup and activation of customer segmentation for marketing campaigns. Monitor the use of customer data by Marketing, sales and care Teams, leading initiatives to drive data protection best practices.
What you'll need?
To be successful in the role, we are looking for: Experienced professional with 4+ years in a marketing analytics role.
Strong understanding of marketing methodologies, performance measurement, and metrics.
Good understanding of data visualisation tools like Power BI.
Proficient in data analysis methodologies.
Ability to convert technical outputs into engaging presentations with a clear narrative and actionable recommendations.
Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, and best practices for data integrity.
