Forbes Advisor, a leading advertiser in the comparison and affiliate marketing industry, is looking for a Sr. SEM Manager to lead a team of media buyers focusing on one of Forbes' business verticals. Reporting to the Director of SEM, this role will be responsible for driving the day-to-day strategy, execution and success of the buying team.


Along with a proven track record of driving growth in profit and revenue, Forbes Advisor is looking for a candidate who exhibits deep expertise in SEM and has a clear understanding of current SEM best practices. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical problem solving skills and the ability to work closely with the Business Development team to identify new revenue opportunities.


The ideal candidate will have a strong comfort level with the affiliate marketing business model and experience managing accounts with several million dollars in monthly marketing spend.

Responsibilities



Accountable for achieving the performance targets for your portfolio ad accounts Provide regular reporting and performance updates to the Leadership Team Direct and support your team members in the day to day marketing operations Set and track quarterly goals (OKR framework) for both yourself and your team Work with other functional groups within the company to drive SEM success (revenue operations, CRO, content, data) Collaborate with peers to ensure learnings are shared and applied throughout the marketing organization Build and maintain a strong relationship with the BD team Drive team innovation through consistent testing, both on campaign and landing page experiences

Requirements:



7+ years of experience managing Google SEM campaigns with a consistent track record of results Deep knowledge of SEM fundamentals and best practices Team player with all-hands-on-deck attitude and an entrepreneurial mind-set Self-starter who can work independently without the day-to-day involvement of the Director of SEM Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong communication, organizational and collaboration skills Strong excel skills with the ability to tie data together from various sources Comfort working in fast-paced high-accountability environments
