We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Engineer to join our service department. This is a senior technical role, working alongside another Senior Service Engineer, delivering expert support in the servicing, installation, calibration, and repair of industrial weighing and labelling equipment throughout Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
Senior-level electrical, mechanical, and electronic servicing of industrial weighing equipment
Installation, setup, and commissioning of industrial weighing systems
Fault diagnosis and repair of complex technical issues
Routine servicing, calibration, and compliance activities within a factory environment
Configuration of weigh price labellers, weighing machines, and weighbridges
Technical telephone support for customers and internal teams
Work closely with another Senior Service Engineer to share expertise and support service delivery
Support and mentor engineers where required
Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient service operations
Prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
Participate in emergency breakdown and out-of-hours call-out service
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
The Ideal Candidate:
Full, valid driving licence
Recognised qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering
Significant relevant experience in a service engineering role
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively at a senior level
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
High attention to detail and professional standards
