The Ministry of Justice is looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead a major improvement programme across its security incident reporting capability. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly support security governance, incident reporting accuracy and data quality across a critical national platform.
You'll take ownership of a focused piece of work to stabilise, rebuild and enhance the SECGOV Record Producer and its related workflows. This includes correcting long-standing defects, improving form and workflow behaviours and delivering a redesigned categorisation structure used across the department.
Your work will help the MoJ deliver more accurate reporting, stronger GDPR compliance and a smoother experience for thousands of staff who rely on the platform to report incidents.
As a Senior Service Now Developer your main responsibilities will be to:
Implement small, medium and large fixes across the SECGOV Record Producer.
Redesign form logic, UI policies and client scripts for better data capture.
Rebuild and rationalise variable-field structures and data dictionary elements.
Introduce new incident categories and subcategories.
Improve workflow automation, including tasking and progress tracking.
Resolve data quality issues affecting dashboards and Power BI reporting.
Enhance mapping, assignment logic and form behaviour across all incident types.
Develop securely with a focus on protecting sensitive and personal data.
