Sign Build Ltd is a rapidly growing Company specialising in Housing Signage. Due to an increase in orders we are looking for reliable and experienced Senior Fitter to join our Installations team. You will be responsible for leading the installation team and organising the installation of all types of signage & vinyl graphics.

Our install crews are the public face of our company and are expected to reflect our high standards and attention to detail at all times.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a key role, ensuring all installations are completed on time whilst adhering to our quality and service standards.

The position is based in Preston, but with installations all around the UK, will involve occasional overnight stays.

Job description

Surveying Client requirements Form & develop operational requirements with other internal departments - primarily commercial & production. Plan and execute work schedules with your team. Record & summarise installation assigned to your team. Problem solve on site with client representatives. Communicate effectively to our internal team to highlight onsite issues and work to communicate a solution to overcome onsite problems, be them of your own making or a change of client requirements. Lead the installation team in both organising each task on site and working with your team to deliver beyond client expectations. Represent and present Sign Build in the most positive way in every aspect of your work. Take responsibility for the condition of your working environment - make sure the facilities from which you work are clean, organised, safe and secure. Take responsibility for the way you and your team conduct themselves on site - workwear, a focus on H & S and the condition of your vehicle and equipment.

Required Skills

Proven experience of sign fitting and leadership is essential. Strong team player with mature attitude to workplace relationships Independent thinking and problem solving ability to resolve any issues on site The position will involve working at heights. As some work will be on construction sites, a current CSCS Card is required. Other industry appropriate certification such as IPAF and PASMA would be an advantage. Full driving Licence is essential Excellent timekeeping, reliability.
