Senior Site Engineer

to join our team and lead engineering activities across our projects.


As a Senior Site Engineer, you will take on a vital role in overseeing construction operations, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will provide technical expertise, mentor junior engineers, and serve as the key point of communication between site teams and project management. Key Responsibilities:



Lead site engineering activities and ensure works are carried out per design specifications and project requirements. Set out and establish control points for various foundations and structural works. Read, interpret, and maintain construction, topographical, and rebar drawings and specifications Maintain site diaries, quality assurance documents, and provide as-built information Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Prepare and review project documentation, including method statements and risk assessments. Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, resolving engineering issues promptly. Address and resolve complex technical problems that arise during the planning and construction phases Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met. Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction, ensuring work is performed according to the design Mentor and train junior engineers and site staff to promote continuous professional development. Implement and maintain a high standard of health, safety, and environmental compliance on site Report project progress and key issues to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements



Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering within the construction industry. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Experience in managing and mentoring junior engineers and site personnel. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Strong communication and leadership skills to foster teamwork and collaboration. Thorough understanding of health and safety management in construction environments. CSCS Card (White or Black) required.
