Are you an experienced Site Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our team for the exciting new build of a railway station just north of Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile infrastructure project, working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

You'll be working on.... (what your role and responsibility is)

Manage and provide survey and setting out information to enable design and construction of the works. Carry out quality assurance checks in line with company procedures, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Liaise with site and development teams to ensure clear understanding and accurate delivery of engineering information. Lead and develop a professional, efficient, and vibrant site engineering team, setting high standards for safety, professionalism, and quality. Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and engineering specifications. Engage with the Octavius culture, promoting collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across the project.

About you.... (what you are skilled at)

Demonstrable experience in groundworks, RC structures, steelwork, and building within a rail and civils environment. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to set up, manage, and motivate a site engineering team. Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and a commitment to "right first time" construction. Proficiency in CAD drawing tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief and support site and development teams. Personal qualities in line with our values: Integrity, Caring, Progressive, Openness, and Quality.

You'll bring... (your wealth of experience & qualifications)

Ideally, an industry-recognised qualification such as HND, NVQ, or similar in Civil Engineering/Building (or equivalent experience). Valid CSCS card, PTS, and other relevant training. Experience working on Network Rail infrastructure.
