RHI Construction Ltd has built a legacy of excellence over the past 50 years, with our head office in Longtown, Carlisle. From our origins as specialists in civils and groundworks, we've evolved into a leading construction contractor operating across Northern England and Southern Scotland. Our diverse portfolio spans both civils and construction, including multi-million-pound housing developments, refurbishments, new builds, steel frame construction, motorway works, retail, schools, and water industry projects.
Our continued success is built on delivering high-quality projects, maintaining safe working practices, and investing in the people who make it all happen. As we grow, we're looking to expand our operational leadership team with the addition of a Senior Site Manager.
The Role
We are looking for a driven, detail-focused Senior Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of civils projects, with a strong focus on water industry and infrastructure works. These projects often involve complex coordination, environmental considerations, and strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

You'll work closely with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Engineers to maintain programme timelines, manage resources, and uphold our high standards across all sites under your control.
Experience in water-related civils projects is preferred, but not essential.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ensure all RAMS and Construction Phase Plans are in place and followed.
Maintain accurate records including permits, diaries, and reports.
Support procurement and encourage team development.
Take a proactive approach to site HR matters and team wellbeing.
Measuring Success
Success in this role means delivering projects:
On time, within budget, and to specification.
With strong team leadership and site coordination.
In full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
While building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Competitive salary based on competency, experience and qualifications.
Company vehicle or vehicle allowance.

You will receive 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
