Site Manager / Senior Tradesperson

High-End Residential & Commercial Projects

Full-Time , Salary Based

Starting Package: 60,000

Based in Croydon, South London | Projects Across London & the South East

We are a growing, design-led company specialising in high-end Venetian plaster, micro-cement finishes, and bespoke kitchen and bathroom transformations. Our work spans luxury residential and commercial projects, with occasional overseas projects, delivering refined craftsmanship, attention to detail, and consistently well-managed sites.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a full-time Site Manager / Senior Tradesperson with a hands-on attitude to oversee projects from start to completion.

Role Purpose

To deliver projects safely, on programme, and to specification, maintaining exceptional site standards, clear communication, and consistent quality from initial setup through to final handover.

Core Responsibilities

Programme planning, sequencing, and day-to-day site management

Coordination of trades, subcontractors, and specialist finishes

Maintaining site standards, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance

Client communication and regular progress updates

Quality control, snagging, and handover management

Identifying variations and reporting risks early

Ensuring works align with drawings, specifications, and agreed scope

Standards & Expectations

Sites are organised, clean, and professional at all times

Issues are identified early and addressed proactively

Respect for client homes and commercial environments

Clear daily and weekly planning

Consistent attention to detail in both workmanship and presentation

Decision Authority

Day-to-day site decisions

Trade sequencing and coordination

Initial identification of variations (final approval escalated where required)

About You

Proven experience as a site manager or senior tradesperson

Hands-on attitude with the ability to lead by example

Preferably experience in bathroom and/or kitchen fit-outs

Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes

Own basic tools

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to travel and stay away for work periodically, including occasional overseas projects

Basic computer skills (emails, simple reporting, photographs, programmes)

Professional, reliable, and solutions-focused

Training & Development

Attendance at a business and leadership training course with the Director twice per month

All training-related expenses fully covered

Training may occasionally fall on a weekend; time off in lieu (TIL) will be provided during the working week

Location & Projects

Company base: Croydon, South London

Majority of work across London and the South East

Occasional projects requiring overnight stays or overseas travel
