The Role



We are looking for an

experienced and proactive Senior Site Manager

to lead the delivery of major construction and refurbishment schemes from inception to completion.

You will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered

safely, on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards

.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on responsibility, inspires their team, and takes pride in achieving outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, maintaining full control of programme, safety, quality, and productivity. Take ownership of project delivery, driving progress, resolving challenges, and maintaining accountability for outcomes. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure seamless delivery in line with specification and design intent. Communicate clearly and regularly with clients, project teams, and internal departments to ensure alignment and transparency. Oversee and mentor Site Managers and Supervisors, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven culture. Carry out regular site inspections and risk assessments, maintaining robust health, safety, and environmental standards. Manage site reporting, record keeping, and progress updates to ensure accurate communication and control. Uphold Marcon's commitment to quality, professionalism, and client care at every stage of the project.

Experience and Skills Required



Proven experience as a

Senior Site Manager

within a main contracting environment. Strong technical understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and coordination. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop others. Comprehensive knowledge of

UK construction health, safety, and environmental legislation

. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities with a structured and proactive approach. Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects

on time and within budget

. A personal commitment to

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 60,000.00-65,000.00 per year
