Equans is looking for Site Managers to join our team across Harrow, Hertford, and Enfield, working on live occupied social housing projects including retrofit, cladding, and decarbonisation schemes. This is a full-time permanent role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
Manage day-to-day refurbishment or retrofit works across occupied housing sites
Lead a site team of up to 20 including Assistant Site Managers, Operatives, Subcontractors, and RLOs
Ensure effective site setup and compliance with all Health & Safety (H&S), quality and programme requirements
Monitor programme progress, report delays, and maintain high standards of work
Develop working relationships with residents, client reps, and internal teams
Manage site documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and H&S files
Oversee site logistics, including welfare facilities, security, and cleanliness
Conduct inspections, quality checks, and safety audits
Respond to resident feedback and manage complaints in partnership with the RLO team
Ensure full compliance with all SHEQ procedures, permits, and public protection measures

Who are you?
Experienced Site Manager with background in occupied refurbishment, cladding, or retrofit works
Able to lead multidisciplinary teams across housing projects
Skilled in liaising with residents, clients, and internal departments
Strong understanding of social housing processes and resident engagement
Technically proficient and organised
Experience using Microsoft Office, including MS Project
Holds SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and a full valid UK Driving Licence
This role is not suitable for candidates with only new build experience.
