(SMSTS qualified) to join our team in Manchester, leading a major residential development within a historic listed building.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all on-site operations, including trades, subcontractors, and site teams
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
Coordinate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives
Monitor project progress against programme, budgets, and quality standards, reporting to the Project Manager or Director
Maintain comprehensive site records, including inductions, toolbox talks, audits, and inspections
Oversee heritage and conservation requirements, liaising with specialists as needed
Manage logistics, deliveries, and safe access across the site
Mentor and support junior site staff, fostering a high-performing and safety-conscious team
Requirements
Valid
SMSTS certification
(Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS card (essential)
First Aid at Work certificate (preferred)
Proven experience managing medium to large-scale residential or refurbishment projects
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience with heritage or listed buildings (highly desirable)
