About the role





Develop and maintain positive working relationship between staff, Client,


contractors and subcontractors.

Assist with the provision of technical support to the Senior Engineer and


Construction Manager.



Interface between the Package Manager and construction activities on site.

Reporting to: Construction Manager - Track (Functional) and Project Manager -


Track (Operational)

What you'll be doing





Below are some of the tasks you will carry out as the Senior Site Supervisor;

Lead and promote a safety-first culture and adhere to all company practices,


procedures and relevant processes.

Ensure all works are carried out safely in accordance with Rules,


Regulations and appropriate Safety Legislation to deliver work in a planned


and safe manner.

Undertake PGI / Safety inspections.

Comply with company/project procedures.

Ensure work is delivered first time and defect free.



Ensure track inspections are undertaken as stipulated in Network Rail Line


Standards.

Ensure works are handed back on time and on budget.

Compliance with safe systems of work on site.



Responsible for the detailed planning and execution of Track Renewals




Undertake briefings on planned works to Sub-contractors.

Who we're looking for


Strong Civil Engineering experience and/or extensive working Track Renewal experience, or working in a Railway Construction Environment including the planning, delivery and installation of Track, and Civil Engineering.

Strong Site Supervisory experience gained from either the Rail or Civil Engineering sectors.

Excellent knowledge of Rules & Regulations, H.A.S.A.W and other


appropriate regulations.

DLR Track Awareness, CSCS, SMSTS, Relevant certs to support the project.

Collaborative and influential leadership skills

Self-motivated and driven, with ability to multi-task, prioritise and remain


calm under pressure.

Strong communicator using verbal and written methods with ability to


build relationships across the team on site.



Computer literate: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
