About the Role

We are seeking a

Senior Site Technician

to join our Structures and Pavements department based in

Leicester

. In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out specialist in-situ testing, inspections, and sampling on a variety of infrastructure, including listed bridges, iconic buildings, and national highway assets.

This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring travel across the UK and occasional weekend or night work. You'll also be provided with all relevant training including working at height, confined spaces, and health and safety courses.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site testing, inspections, and material sampling Oversee and facilitate site works on assigned projects Assist in mentoring and training junior technicians Ensure quality and completeness of all site test records Interpret client instructions and incorporate them into project plans Ensure all testing equipment is functional, calibrated, and fit for use Complete dynamic risk assessments and flag any health & safety concerns Maintain clean, safe, and organised work environments Represent the company professionally when on-site with clients

Additional Details

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Flexibility:

Regular weekend, night shifts, and overnight stays are expected

nationwide travel
