We are seeking a

Senior Site Technician

to join our team and support the delivery of

high-quality survey services

across infrastructure projects. This role involves carrying out

intrusive and non-intrusive surveys

, primarily on roads, to provide accurate data that underpins project design, construction, and maintenance.


This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious professional who thrives in a hands-on, field-based environment.

Here's what you'll do:

Conduct accurate and detailed intrusive and non-intrusive surveys on roads and other infrastructure assets. Ensure all survey data is collected, recorded, and reported in line with project specifications and industry standards. Operate, maintain, and calibrate survey equipment to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy. Drive to and from survey locations, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe travel. Tow trailers and transport equipment in compliance with all legal and safety requirements. Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and compliance with site-specific protocols. Collect survey data using handheld or tablet-based devices, including GPS-enabled asset data capture tools. Work collaboratively with project and engineering teams to ensure survey outputs meet project objectives. Be available to work away from home for extended periods and undertake night shifts as required to accommodate project schedules and minimize disruption to road users.

Work Environment



Primarily site-based, involving outdoor work in varied weather conditions. Requires regular travel and periods working away from home. Includes night and weekend shifts to meet project delivery timelines.

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what's possible?



Here's what we're looking for:

CSCS Card - proof of site safety awareness. Safety Critical Medical - fit for safety-critical work. Full UK Driving Licence and Van Driving Competency. Trailer Towing Competency - ability to transport equipment safely. Experience with UKPMS Accreditations (preferred but not essential). A detail-driven approach with a strong focus on accuracy and safety. Previous experience in surveying, civil engineering, or highways projects is a plus.
