Foster Wales Swansea is committed to providing high-quality care for children and young people looked after by Swansea Council. We recruit, assess, and support foster carers to offer stable, nurturing homes for children who cannot live with their birth families.

About the Role




As a Senior Social Worker, you will:

Provide supervision, support, and guidance to staff and foster carers. Develop specialist areas of the fostering service - step down from residential care/ SBS and PAC Contribute to the recruitment, training, and retention of foster carers. Work collaboratively with children's services, education, and health professionals. Support the development of trauma-informed and therapeutic fostering practices.

What We're Looking For



Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Care Wales. Post-qualifying experience in children's services, ideally fostering. Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
