Senior Software Developer - Desktop App Development

- The Role:

Broadstone is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop application development using the .NET framework to join our dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills by working on and contributing to meaningful projects, which will enhance the service provided by Broadstone.

Senior Software Developer - Desktop App Development

- Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing modern desktop applications using WinUI 3, .NET 8+, and the Windows App SDK in addition to maintaining any existing applications. Writing clean, secure, and maintainable code following software development best practices. Implementing security and data protection measures. Leading development efforts and mentoring junior team members. Managing and tracking development tasks, bugs, and feature requests using Azure DevOps. Collaborate using GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipelines, enabling code integration and automated deployments.

Senior Software Developer - Desktop App Development

- You:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop application development using the .NET framework. Strong experience with WinUI 3 is highly preferred. Experience integrating third-party UI toolkits. Proven work experience within an Agile software development environment. Good understanding of MVVM, design patterns, and secure software development practices.
