Software Developer - Desktop App Development

- The Role:

Broadstone is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer with a minimum of 3 years ofexperience in desktop application development using the .NET framework to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills by working on and contributing to meaningful projects, which will enhance the service provided by Broadstone.

Software Developer - Desktop App Development

- Key Responsibilities:

Contributing to the development and modernisation of desktop applications using WinUI 3, .NET 8+, and the Windows App SD in addition to maintaining any existing applications. Writing clean, secure, and maintainable code following software development best practices. Implementing basic security and data protection measures. Work with technologies such as UWP (preferred), WPF, and demonstrate familiarity with WinUI 3. Integrate third-party toolkits like Windows Community Toolkit, Syncfusion, and Telerik. Participating actively in Agile practices. Use Azure DevOps for task tracking and GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Software Developer - Desktop App Development

- You:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. A minimum of 3 years ofexperience in desktop application development using the .NET framework Experience with WinUI 3, UWP (preferred), or WPF, and familiarity with the Windows App SDK. Proven work experience within an Agile software development environment. Understanding of MVVM, design patterns, and secure software development practices.
