De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham Buckinghamshire are looking for a Senior Sous Chef

to join the brigade to work alongside our Executive Head Chef Stephen Englefield.


The hotel has two kitchens to service the property. We offer buffet breakfast and lunches for our conference guests as well as private dining options and a restaurant & bar menu. The hotel is a busy conference and events venue to include weddings, but we also have leisure guests.


This role is challenging, but exceptionally rewarding, so you will be hard-working, focused, inspiring and encouraging.

As a Senior Sous Chef you will:

Be highly motivated, positive and talented with experience in a large hotel or events venue. Assist the Exec Head Chef in food purchases while controlling costs Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard Support, mentor and train any talented junior chefs in the brigade Ensure you and your team have highest of standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety. You'll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you'll continually learn and develop, and have the opportunity to join our Level 4 Chef Apprenticeship.
